TECHNOLOGY:
Matryx®: Matryx® is an exclusive patented fabric developed by Babolat & Chamatex®, experts in technical and high performance fabrics. Made in France, Matryx is a combination of Kevlar® Polyamide fibres with different zones adapted to the player's needs: flexible at the front, support at the sides, breathability at the outside and abrasion resistance on the inside of the foot. Matryx® provides pleasure without compromise.
TI-Fit: Optimal material distribution based on tennis players’ footwork, TI-Fit (Tennis Inside) feature provides strategically positioned support (heel, instep, forefoot) for precise, sure footing and comfortable flexing and bending of the foot.
ORTHOLITE®: Engineered from open cell polyurethane, Ortholite soles retain 95% of their cushioning after one year of use, whereas ordinary soles lose 70% of their cushioning over the same time period. The Ortholite® sole is light and breathable. The air circulates, to help evacuate heat and moisture to keep the feet dry. The environmentally-friendly biocide treatment is antimicrobial and creates a healthier environment for the feet. The advantages of Ortholite® Open-Cell Technology are:
|
KPRS-X: This specially shaped foam developed by Babolat optimizes cushioning at the heel.
Kompressor: a high-performance shock absorption system through a TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber) tube compression system.
MICHELIN applies its expertise and knowledge of rubber and traction for its shoe collection. You can trust Michelin to provide optimal comfort and traction. Michelin shoes are practical and stylish with a design inspired by their high performance tyres. Whatever you need, from durable work shoes to robust outdoor footwear, Michelin will meet your requirements. |
COMPOSITION:
Kevlar®: Best known for its use in resistant armour, Kevlar® is an aramid fibre developed by DuPont™. It is a thermoplastic polymer consisting of aromatic rings which are separated by the amide groups. It is also used in various garments, accessories and equipment to enhance safety and abrasion resistance. It is light, durable and resistant. This is a synthetic fibre which has excellent tensile properties and a high tensile strength. The toughness of Kevlar comes from its structure of hydrogen bonds held together between polymer chains.
Advantages:
|
EVA: The moulded EVA foam insert is particularly flexible. It helps improve shock absorption and lightness.
