TECHNOLOGY:

CLARITY: Clarity lens tint helps significantly improve perception of contrasts, light and colours in all weather conditions. Combined with Clarity tint, the Spektris mirror coating helps reduce reflections and eye fatigue.

Clarity technology for Poc goggles has been developed in collaboration with Carl Zeiss Vision SunLens for everyday use and competitions.

LENS CONSTRUCTION:

TORIC SPHERICAL LENSES BY ZEISS: This lens mimics the spherical shape of the human eye to provide superior optics while creating increased air volume inside the goggles to help prevent fogging. The manufacturing, testing, and quality control of these spherical lenses is provided Lenses by Zeiss, the global leader in optical technology and photography.

CATEGORIES:

Category 2 solar lenses will filter out 58% to 82% of ambient sunlight. This protection is effective in medium sunlight conditions. Category 2 lenses can be worn in periods of variable sunlight and between seasons, for example at the beginning of spring and the end of autumn.

Category 1 solar lenses are slightly tinted, and filter 20 to 57% of sunlight. This type of index is recommended for low sunlight, for example in winter or for cloudy days. This type of index is strongly discouraged in very sunny conditions.
