TECHNOLOGY:

4 PIECE CONSTRUCTION: Movement have chosen a four-piece construction (base, cuff, and a two-piece tongue) in order to make putting on the boot easier. The flexible walking system follows the natural movement of the foot. The two-piece tongue can be changed, thereby having more or less hardness appropriate to the needs of the skier. The four boots proposed are very versatile and are compatible with our lightweight ski line. The difference is in the rigidity of the materials, liners, buckles, and accessories.

LOWTECH INSERTS: MOVEMENT guarantees maximum reliability for the Low Tech inserts placed on the base of the cuffs. That is the reason they only use certificated DYNAFIT inserts compatible with all available bindings with LT technology. Their boots are also compatible with MARKER KING PIN bindings.

WALKING MODE: The front and rear mechanism is optimised by an ergonomic lever on top of the heel when in walking or in ski mode and can be easily manipulated in all conditions by hand or with a ski pole. This lever protects the mechanism from frost and repeated shocks.

LINER: The material used in the construction process is a material with closed and dense cells, and has characteristics to insulate from the cold and adapt perfectly to the morphology of the foot. This foam is pre-formed anatomically at factory. The liner can be used directly without being modified (INSTANTFIT) or reworked using heat. It is possible to repeat this several times. Lycra material such part of the interior construction of the shoe allow easy entry and exit whatever the ambient temperature. The liners are 100 % manufactured in Europe (France and Italy)

COMPOSITION:

Dual Injected Pebax: the lightest plastic. The darker parts on the shell are the more flexible Pebax parts. In addition to its lightweight properties, Pebax maintains the same dynamism and is not affected by temperature variations.

GRILAMID: these boots are made with multiple densities of Grilamid to absorb shocks and prevent deformation. It is important to specify that this material stiffens in cold conditions and the colder it is the more reinforced the shell structure becomes.

EVA: The moulded EVA insert provides lightweight cushioning and stability.

FLEX INDEX:

FLEX INDEX: The flex is the boot's flexibility index. The greater the flex, the more rigid and reactive the boot. On the contrary, a soft flex will be more tolerant and comfortable. The flex of your boot is chosen in relation to your skiing level as well as size.

Men's Flex Index:

  • Flex from 60 to 70: beginner to intermediate
  • Flex from 80 to 110: intermediate to advanced
  • Flex above 120: expert

Women's Flex Index:

  • Flex from 50 to 70: Beginner to intermediate
  • Flex from 80 to 70: Intermediate to advanced
  • Flex from 100 to 110: Expert

Important: A flex that is too rigid for the average skier will impede progression. For a heavy and powerful skier, it is essential to increase the flex.
