TECHNOLOGY:
THERMO TWIN SKIN®: By creating TTS® technology, Coasto steps away from the traditional process of how SUP boards and surfboards are made. It uses the basic components of a SUP board, Drop Stitch core and laminated PVC, but is assembled differently. The 2 PVC layers are not glued to the core, they are heat sealed. This makes the board significantly lighter, more eco-friendly and more durable over time.
Drop Stitch: The best inflatable technology on the market! Thousands of polyester fibres are held between two outer layers of reinforced PVC. When inflated under pressure (15Psi), these threads tighten and make the board stiffer, which is the secret to Drop Stitch technology. Thanks to this construction, the inflatable surfboards are both lighter and stiffer.
COMPOSITION:
EVA: Compact and dense, EVA foam is a polymer similar to elastomer materials in terms of softness and flexibility. This material is highly resistant and has good clarity and shine, UV resistance and adhesive properties.
