TECHNOLOGY:

WOOD CORE : No synthetic core is injected or combined (wood and injected foam) in the MOVEMENT skis (with the exception of kids skis). MOVEMENT use wooden cores that are chosen and calibrated depending on requirements. The wood is top quality and lively, guaranteeing speed and durability. In addition to the FCS and PEPS certification of all our wood (www.fsc.org / www.pefc.org) the core assembly reduces the use of harmful artificial glues to the maximum.

BASE P-TEX : We use exclusively top quality sintered bases with high molecular density. We use 3 different P-Tex bases throughout the range which are carefully chosen to match the individual ski.

DPR : We have also developed a new system of two layers, one with fibreglass and the other one in titan (DPR Titanal). These two layers are completely integrated under the bindings so that we can guarantee the perfect anchorage of screws.

VA-TECH : The VATECH system is the insertion of rubber that absorbs vibrations under the bindings, improving grip and providing comfort. The NOSE VATECH system is a replacement for the ABS plate (on skis longer than 135mm) with a rubber vibration absorber, this improves comfort in all conditions.

ALP TRACKS : This is a semi-automated construction process. Part of process is manual, namely the weaving of the fibreglass and the carbon fibre layers. These categories of skis undergo a special finishing process involving compression of the fibres to reduce weight. This construction is only possible for a limited series and exclusively designed for the high mountain program.

ABS SHOCK ABSORBER (ASA): ABS shock absorber integration located on the sensitive section around the shoe area, this acts as a shock-absorber.

TWIN ROCKER : An exaggerated length and height of rocker on both the tip and the tail which allows the ski to pivot easily and float effortlessly in powder. The ski still has a good contact zone in the centre with plenty of edge to keep grip and maintain stability at speed.
