TECHNOLOGY:

X-TAPER: This construction improves head tube steering. It creates an X shape and tapers from 1.5" at the bottom to 1 1/8" in the middle. This provides precise steering and frame durability.

FLEX-STAY: MERIDA design road and hardtail bikes with stiff rear ends, to reduce weight and to turn the rider's effort into propulsion. But a rigid rear end can transmit bumps back to the rider, affecting comfort and performance. To prevent this, FLEX STAY absorbs surface bumps and reduces vibrations.

HYDRO-OIL: This construction uses hot oil and forces it through high pressure outwards to shape the aluminium frame. This helps create very complex tube profiles for superb results of the highest performance level.
