MOVEMENT:
With Seiko Kinetic Direct Drive you can see in real time how much energy you create. Just turn the crown and the and the power reserve indicator will display how much energy has been produced. Easy to use, this new Seiko technology is interactive. The miniature Kinetic generator contains a magnetic levitation suspended rotor. It can reach up to 100,000 rpm, or 5 times faster than a Formula One engine. The first Kinetic watch had an energy consumption of only 0.9 micro-watts of power, which was just 3% of that needed in the first Quartz watch: the Astron. Today, Kinetic Direct Drive uses just 0.71 micro-watts.
