TECHNOLOGY:
C.A.S Cuff Adapt: Depending on the shape of the calf, this technology lets you personalise both the upper and the top of the liner to eliminate pressure points.
Quick Instep: The Quick Instep system is a moulded plastic element on the instep that is softer than the rest of the shell and helps put on and remove your boots easily.
Lift Lock: The Lift Lock mechanism keeps the buckle away from the boot. Use the lever and the buckle will be ready to hook.
COMPOSITION:
Celliant: Celliant fibre is made up of 13 thermoactive minerals that convert heat emitted by the body into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase blood circulation and oxygenation.
C.A.S. Liner: C.A.S has revolutionised ski boot fitting and personalisation. Made with a dual density microcell material, CAS inner-boots are pre-shaped for the foot. This material is easy to personalise and has a low compression rate. The inside of the liner is designed to fit the foot, while the exterior moulds to the shape of the shell.
C.A.S. Shell: The C.A.S Shell has an anatomic shape that perfectly moulds to the inner-boots. Marks on the shell help reduce surface tension and let you personalise the shell by marking key areas to adjust.
FLEX INDEX:
Flex Index: The flex is the boot's flexibility index. The greater the flex, the more rigid and reactive the boot. On the contrary, a soft flex will be more tolerant and comfortable. The flex of your boot is chosen in relation to your skiing level as well as size.
Men's Flex Index:
- Flex less than 80: beginner to intermediate
- Flex from 80 to 110: intermediate to advanced
- Flex above 110: expert
Women's Flex Index:
- Flex less than 70: beginner to intermediate
- Flex from 70 to 100: intermediate to advanced
- Flex above 100: expert
Important: A flex that is too rigid for the average skier will impede progression. For a heavy and powerful skier, it is essential to increase the flex.
