U Control Heel System: Exclusive heel positioning system. Helps enable heel stability for intensive exercise.
High Comfort Insole: The High Comfort Insole is lightweight and comfortable, providing breathability. It can be replaced.
Air Ventilation System: The entire range of Gaerne shoes guarantee optimal ventilation and temperature regulation for comfortable pedalling.
Comfort Fit Tongue: Perforated shoe tongue for better interior ventilation. It has a unique construction with special padding.
Heel Cup: This anatomic injection-moulded plastic heel does not deform over time. The design reduces the risk of tendinitis and the non-slip inner coating provides control and stability.
EPS Light Weight Full Carbon Sole: Full carbon sole for absolute lightness and stiffness. The ultra-thin thickness of the carbon helps position the foot at a minimum distance from the pedal, allowing maximum pedalling power without loss of energy. Two channels positioned in the sole ensure perfect ventilation during use. Non-slip rubber inserts on the front and back of the sole provide stability off the bike. The back insert is replaceable. This sole is compatible with automatic pedals.
Diagonal Closure System: Innovative Diagonal Closure System uses two BOA IP -1 micrometric dials and velcro tab. These three separate elements are positioned diagonally to prevent pressure points on the instep. This combination enables quick fastening.
