BACK SYSTEM:
SL -Collection: The SL line for women was developed by a team of female designers and athletes. Characteristics:
- Shorter back: the carrying system is shorter at the back to adapt to the female morphology.
- Narrower shoulder straps: they are closer and have narrower ends, with a S shape and rounded edges for fitting perfectly on the shoulders with no pressure or rubbing.
- Conical hip fins: closed and make a cone shape to perfectly fit on women hips.
Deuter Shield System: The main aim of the Shield System is to minimise or even prevent injury during high risk sports. It is a TÜV-GS and CE certified PSA back system. The backpack material is accurately adapted to the integrated SAS protector - a combination that results in the highest safety standard.
The dampening heart of the Shield System is the viscose-elastic SC-1 foam by SAS-Tec. Its 'smart' foam remains soft and flexible in normal use. The faster the impact, the firmer the foam. This way it absorbs part of the impact energy. The SC1 foam returns to its original shape after every deformation. This memory effect allows the user continued use, even after a fall.
COMPOSITION:
Macro Lite: Robust nylon fabric with 420 deniers and 210 deniers densities. The high density tight weave of this fabric offers high abrasion resistance. It has a fine texture and a technical aspect. PU coating.
Duratex: A polyamide-fabric that is extremely abrasion and tear resistant. This is why it is used for the bottom panel on all larger backpacks. It has a thread of 1,000 den and a thick PU coating on the inside.
