BACK SYSTEM:
Deuter Aircontact System: Heavier loads are carried more easily when there is harmony between the backpack and wearer. This is the principle of the Aircontact system. The carrying system is close to the body, keeping the weight close to the body's centre of gravity. This guarantees full control and effective load transfer The breathable back cushions ensure comfortable venting through a pump effect with each movement.
Results: 15% less perspiration on body contact than to an ordinary rucksack, with perfect weight transfer and a safe and balanced sitting posture - demonstrated by Gabriel L. & T. in a field test carried out in collaboration with the University of Erlangen.
SL -Collection: The SL line for women was developed by a team of female designers and athletes. Characteristics:
- Shorter back: the carrying system is shorter at the back to adapt to the female morphology.
- Narrower shoulder straps: they are closer and have narrower ends, with a S shape and rounded edges for fitting perfectly on the shoulders with no pressure or rubbing.
- Conical hip fins: closed and make a cone shape to perfectly fit on women hips.
Variflex: VariFlex 3D hip fins for even load transfer that saves energy. They follow all movements and the ergonomic design adapts individually. The multi-layered soft and compact foam structure absorbs pressure and, reinforced with a synthetic material, efficiently transfers the load without compressing. The compression straps on the fins regulate the load distribution and increase stability.
VariSlide: System lets you regulate the back positioning quickly with high precision through an easy accessible central buckle.
Active Fit: Active Fit backpack straps are flexible and ergonomic. They ensure comfortable hold as well as good shoulder angle through the automatic width adjustment. The ergonomic S-shape fits perfectly to the shape of the shoulders. The light, perforated foam provides optimal venting.

PFC Free: PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health. PFC-free products are environmentally friendly. |
330D PA 6.6 Ripstop: A blend of 330 denier nylon with extreme tear and traction resistance. Using nylon 6.6 makes the material very durable and robust. The perfect material for big packs. The polyurethane coating makes it waterproof with a water column up to 2,000 mm.
PES 600D: Made with 600 den polyester thread and a thick PU coating, this multi-purpose fabric is robust and lightweight. It is most suitable for backpacks to help reduce weight.
