BACK SYSTEM:
Deuter AirComfort System: For small to medium volume backpacks used in easy to navigate terrain, we rely on maximum ventilation. The hard-wearing central element of the AirComfort systems is the durable spring steel frame. It endows the special ventilated mesh with constant tension, even in difficult conditions, and thereby creates ventilated space between the bag and the back, through which damp air can escape freely.
Results: Optimal ventilation provided through the AirComfort back net system reduces water loss by up to 25%, increasing endurance by relieving blood circulation - tested by the renowned Hohenstein Institute.
SL WOMEN'S FIT: The SL line for women was developed by a team of female designers and athletes. Characteristics:
- Short back: The SL carry system is slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard rucksacks.
- Thinner shoulder straps: Soft edges to the straps and narrow tapered strap ends prevent the SL shoulder straps from chafing under the arms. The straps are also closer to each other to prevent them sliding off narrow shoulders.
- Conical hip fins: To contour the female hip perfectly, the closed hip belt needs a conical shape. This conical shape is achieved by angling the belt diagonally upwards and by curving the SL hip belt fins.
COMPOSITION:
Microrip-Nylon: 210 den nylon fabric with strong ripstop threads and PU coating. This fine, lightweight and yet abrasion resistant nylon is optimal for lightweight backpack construction.
Super Polytex: Made from 600 denier polyester thread and with a thick PU coating, this multi-purpose fabric is robust and lightweight. It is most suitable for backpacks, used in average conditions to keep the weight to a minimum.
