Ultra Plateforme™ : Ultra Platform™ is the ultra-lightweight base on which we build our Ultra series running shoes. The platform features a perfect balance of stack height, drop and foot angle to allow runners to maintain form as easily as possible, which is essential when you want to run fast for an extended period of time. Featuring an innovative carbon plate with a precision slot at the front, Ultra Platform ™ offers energy return also during turns and on rough terrain. And with a traction outsole that works well on all types of surfaces, the platform offers the unique opportunity to conquer high-speed ultra trail marathons.
Ultra Trac™ : This 3-piece lugged traction rubber outsole is capable on roads or light trail surfaces and in varying weather conditions. Landing and toe traction is improved by the shape and configuration of the studs and grip on a variety of surfaces is enhanced by our specially formulated rubber compound. This outsole is designed to be lightweight, flexible and provide versatile traction solutions while maintaining excellent durability.
COMPOSITION:
Vault Foam™: is a lightweight, durable midsole foam that provides consistent propulsion over a long period of time. This EVA-based foam adds a unique chemical compound for improved rebound and durability. Fast, light and durable are the main features of this high quality midsole foam.
EVA: The moulded EVA foam midsole in the shoe is mainly characterised by its flexibility. Its cushioning quality offers better shock absorption as well as more lightness.
