TECHNOLOGY:


DualBeam+™ technology uses two concentric beams and sophisticated processing algorithms to combine data from the two beams.

  • The central beam of 200 kHz and 20 °indicates fish and the bottom profile
  • The wide beam of 83 kHz and 60 ° indicates fish and the structure
  • Echoes from both beams can be viewed individually or in split screen
  • The coverage area has a diameter equal to the depth

With its two display modes offering superior readability depending on exploration conditions, the exclusive Humminbird SwitchFire™ system lets you choose how your sonar returns appear. You can adapt your device depending on fishing conditions.

The Fish ID+ function interprets the sonar using the most advanced algorithms to display the fish symbol with its depth in the sonar return. This function adds a number on the screen above the picture for an easy visual of the fish's depth.


WATER RESISTANCE:


IP67 Certification: The protection index is a standard defined by the international standard IEC 60529 by International Electrotechnical Commission). This index classifies the level of protection provided for electronic equipment against possible intrusions (for example, dust), and liquids (water, oil, etc.). The IP67 waterproof standard corresponds with a product that is fully dustproof and waterproof to a depth of  1m for 30min.
